A New Year Begins from An EPS Foam Recycling Event in Bucks County

The new year has come. In pursuit of a higher-quality environment and green industrial development, many environmental protection activities are also being carried out continuously. In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the Lower Makefield Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) decided to launch an EPS foam recycling event in the township building on January 8th to celebrate the arrival of the new year and its commitment to environmental protection and recycling.

EPS foam is widely used in various fields, and it is of high quality and low price. So it is undoubtedly a “star” material. However, most people don't care about where used EPS foam commodity packaging, food containers would be sent, and what the consequences would be. Until the last few decades, when the shortage of oil resources and the EPS foam waste that has not been properly handled have caused an increasingly serious impact on people's living environment, people have discovered how important it is to properly handle the used EPS foam. The Lower Makefield is one of them.

The Lower Markfield EAC is a volunteer group dedicated to the environmental quality of the town and conducts environmental education and promotion of environmental protection activities to the residents of the town. They quickly realize that EPS foam has influenced in their public environment and it’s time to take measures. They have found that EPS foam recycling could help reduce pollution, save resources, and even bring them economic interests. So in 2021, EAC has launched two EPS foam recycling activities that brought to a successful close. After the one-year demonstration, the significance of EPS foam recycling has been taken seriously by the government and residents. So EAC decides to hold a recycling activity to start a new green recycling year of 2022.

As usual, waste EPS foam will be collected together and sent into the recycling plant. They will no longer appear in the landfill or incineration places but be cut into pieces by crusher. And then these EPS foam pieces will be compacted or melted into blocks or ingots through EPS foam recycling machines. These compressed materials can be sold to EPS recyclers such as INTCO Recycling. We INTCO provides a whole EPS foam waste solution, from GREENMAX EPS foam recycling machines to buying back ingots and producing framing products, INTCO owns a complete closed-loop business. In 2022, it can be believed that there will be more and more organizations and companies like the Lower Makefield EAC joining the EPS foam recycling business. And INTCO Recycling will be your best cooperative partner.
