In the scrap recycling space in Nigeria, OMC has carved a niche with its expertise in aluminum scrap recycling. With the continuous expansion of its business territory, OMC will set its sights on the field of PET Bottles Recycling at the end of 2023, thus starting a development journey closely connected with GREENMAX. In its initial contact with GREENMAX, OMC actively explored the mysteries of the PET recycling business and gained an in-depth understanding of market dynamics and GREENMAX's strong scale advantage in PET food-grade recycling.
At that time, the customer planned to purchase a vertical baler as an important tool to enter the field of PET Bottles Recycling. The Chinaplas exhibition in April 2024 has become an important opportunity for cooperation between the two parties. At the exhibition, GREENMAX conducted in-depth exchanges with customers, further enhancing mutual understanding and trust. Subsequently, the customer visited GREENMAX factory and participated in the test run of the vertical baler on site. After witnessing our company's strong strength and advanced production facilities, the customer had firm confidence in the cooperation with our company, decided to become our long-term partner, and ordered an additional label removal machine. What's more worth mentioning is that OMC not only purchased the GREENMAX vertical baler and label removal machine, but also sold the compressed PET beverage bottles to GREENMAX's parent company, INTCO Recycling. Our company not only provides recycling equipment, but also uses recycled materials for remanufacturing.
In October, the equipment arrived at the customer's factory as scheduled. GREENMAX quickly set up a professional team to provide customers with a full range of installation and commissioning guidance services. At the same time, we went deep into the customer's production site, comprehensively investigated the current situation of recycling, and with rich industry experience, we tailored highly targeted professional suggestions for customers in many key aspects such as recycling plant layout optimization, sorting and delabeling and baling process improvement, recycling volume growth strategy formulation and equipment upgrade path planning. With the full support of GREENMAX, the customer quickly mastered the operation essentials of the new equipment, deeply understood the strict requirements of food-grade recycling for the quality of bottle bricks, and made scientific and reasonable optimization and adjustment of the factory layout.
A series of positive changes have led to significant results: production efficiency has been significantly improved, and the quality of the Pressed bottle bale produced stands out in the local Nigerian market. With the superior performance of the GREENMAX label removal machine and vertical baler, as well as the experience we have shared with us in sorting and recycling high-quality Pressed bottle bale, the price of Pressed bottle bale has increased by nearly $200 per ton, and the loading weight can easily reach 20 tons.
Today, OMC highly recognizes our company's mature and advanced recycling closed-loop system and actively expresses its willingness to cooperate closely with our company in the long term. It hopes that with our company's continued help, it can successfully realize the transformation and upgrading to PET food-grade clean flake recycling in the future, and jointly create a more brilliant win-win situation. GREENMAX will also continue to support the development of OMC and work together to promote the sustainable development process of Nigeria's PET Bottle Recycling industry.
