Marion County Recycling as government-affiliated recycling center has implemented Styrofoam recycling using Styrofoam densifier

As a recycling center dedicated to environmental protection, Marion County Recycling has not so many sources of waste Styrofoam, but the quantity is relatively stable, and with the continuous development of Styrofoam recycling concepts, the quantity of foam collected by the recycling center will continue to increase.

As Styrofoam recycler, Marion County Recycling once had a Styrofoam recycling machine from another brand, but they were not very satisfied with the original machine. First of all, the compression effect of this cold pressing equipment is not good, and the density of the compressed material obtained is very low. In addition, because the compression is not tight enough, Styrofoam waste will be scattered during the compression process, making it difficult to maintain 5S on the factory site. The foam generated during the compression process is everywhere.

As a "green enterprise", Marion County Recycling will receive various government support during the Styrofoam recycling process, including investment in new equipment. After understanding the customer's situation, GREENMAX offered by INTCO Recycling actively contacted the person in charge to provide suggestions. After a period of thinking, the person in charge asked us again for a quote for the machines and put forward their demands for the equipment:

The customer stated that they wanted a machine with a conveyor belt. Combining the two issues mentioned previously, GREENMAX suggested that they purchase a Styrofoam densifier powered by hot melt technology and use it with a conveyor belt. Because the amount of Styrofoam produced in the recycling center is not large, we recommend using a low-power model such as the Styrofoam densifier M-C100 for recycling.

Although the subsidies provided by the government are still being negotiated, the recycling center decided to purchase a Styrofoam densifier first to accelerate the advancement of the recycling project. Because we have been purchasing their cold-pressed materials since 2020 and have maintained a friendly and stable relationship, we are already a long-term partner with high trust. After the customer decided to place an order for a Styrofoam densifier, GREENMAX provided them with detailed information to meet all the customer needs.

This Styrofoam densifier has been shipped in June 2023 and will be installed and put into use in September. Since INTCO Recycling offers foam buyback services, we will also continue to work with Marion County Recycling to purchase melted material produced by new equipment!
