NCF is a Styrofoam fabricator, established in 2018, which mainly produces high-performance building materials, etc. After a year of production and operation, NCF was faced with an urgent problem: in the process of producing and cutting Styrofoam, there would be a lot of leftover scraps that were difficult to dispose of.
Certain parts of the Styrofoam fabrication process produce a lot of scraps, including during the die-cutting process. During die cutting, Styrofoam scrap can be the result of changes in the converting process, the shutdown, and startup of the production line, or the material left over when shapes are die cut. In addition, scrap happens when the useful life of foam products has expired. At the time, NCF didn't know what to do with the Styrofoam waste, so it left it all in the silo, and over time the company's two large silos were filled with waste.
NCF knew this could be a big problem in the long run. The accumulation of Styrofoam was a fire hazard and took up a lot of space, so they looked for a solution. They wanted to buy a Styrofoam densifier to recycle the Styrofoam. After Googling Styrofoam recycling, they began to learn about the Styrofoam recycling business of INTCO. As a machine manufacturer, Inco has a dedicated team of engineers to design the machines and provide after-sales service. This should be enough to beat most competitors, as many of the machines are sold by agencies that do not provide a complete Styrofoam recycling service.
During the communication with the INTCO team, INTCO explained to NCF the Styrofoam packaging recycling process in detail, the difference between the compactor and the densifier, and provided clear information on the price, power, and processed materials. Our professional information helped NCF choose the most suitable machine for their scrap. Before, NCF could only crush Styrofoam waste materials for reuse. However, after learning that the Styrofoam waste materials processed through the Styrofoam densifier could be sold as recycled materials, NCF ultimately chose the GREENMAX Styrofoam densifier M-C50 made by INTCO. This machine is a perfect fit for NCF and is very cost-effective.
Currently, the Styrofoam densifier M-C50 is in working order, while the compressed ingots are sold to INTCO to reuse. The machine saves NCF about $600 in landfill costs per time and generates additional revenue from selling ingots. The most troublesome Styrofoam waste problem for NCF has been solved thanks to INTCO Recycling's GREENMAX Styrofoam densifier.
