GREENMAX foam recycling pelletizing machine helps Plastlit company recycle PSP meal boxes in Ecuador successfully

In recent years, many countries have attempted to reduce waste plastics by banning single-use plastics. PSP lunch boxes are single-use EPS foam products. Several governments are discussing whether to ban them. Faced with this situation, INTCO Recycling by creating its own machinery brand GREENMAX and EPS foam recycling closed-loop industry chain, it has helped many PSP meal box manufacturers prove to relevant government departments that meal boxes can be reasonably recycled and reused, and successfully helped these meal box manufacturers achieve Manufacturer’s Responsibility Performance (MRP) through equipment and industrial chain

Ecuadorian PSP meal box manufacturer Plastlit is one of them. As a well-known meal box manufacturer in Ecuador, Plastlit has been troubled by the difficulty of recycling dirty PSP meal boxes. The country is quite dissatisfied with the fact that PSP meal boxes cannot be recycled and reused. And began to adopt repressive policies, but Plastlit did not find a substitute product with suitable price and performance.

In 2019, the company visited the GREENMAX booth at the K Show in Germany and learned that GREENMAX has nearly twenty years of experience in the field of EPS foam recycling and makes recycled EPS foam compressed materials and EPS particles into exquisite photo frames, mirror frames and building materials. Plastlit raised their dilemma regarding the difficulty of recycling PSP meal boxes. GREENMAX demonstrated its successful experience in using foam recycling solution to help Indonesian PSP meal box manufacturers clean and recycle meal boxes and recycle them into new products. Plastlit expressed great interest in this and discussed recycling and reuse in detail with GREENMAX. A reasonable solution for PS lunch boxes.

Although the project was stalled due to the COVID-19 epidemic, they resumed the project in 2021 after the epidemic improved. They continued to communicate with GREENMAX engineers about functional and site requirements. The engineers finally successfully designed a customized foam recycling pelletizing machine for them to help recycle lunch boxes, this customized equipment provides with a relatively complete foam recycling solution (integrating cleaning and pelletizing). After a series of discussions and confirmations, the customer was satisfied and placed an order for GREENMAX foam recycling pelletizing machine,  realizing the regeneration cycle of PS lunch boxes.
