An American Community Coalition Eliminates Foam from Landfills by Recycling it
Foam appears in our life in various forms. It could be the Foam drink cup you have handy; it could be the delivery package you receive, or it could be the foam boards in a building you're in. Over the years, the foam has been integrated into any form we want and has played a very important role in the whole consumer economy. But its sheer size and single-use nature have a downside: it takes up a lot of space in landfills and remains difficult to decompose for hundreds of years. Someone realizes this and decides to do something to help reduce foam waste in landfills.
In the past few days, partnering with several local groups, the First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, has determined to add a recycling trailer to help expand their collection efforts for foam waste. This recycling trailer is open to the communities and can accept 200 pounds of foam. This allows residents to collect and deliver their waste foam such as foam packaging and containers to the recycling trailer. It’s no need to throw their foam waste into the bins. When there is no recycling trailer, all foam waste is usually mixed with other garbage and is hard to sort out. It also makes it more difficult to recycle foam waste. But now, a recycling trailer can solve this problem.
Nowadays, with the improvement of people's living standards, there is more and more household garbage, among which the waste with recycling value people will consciously separate them from the non-recyclable garbage and throw them into the corresponding garbage can. Most of the waste that is not recycled ends up in landfills. But much of the waste in landfills can be broken down and turned into nutrients to nourish the soil. But waste foam will not decompose in landfills for hundreds of years. The space of urban landfills is limited, and the large volume of foam will only occupy space and pollute the environment. All solid waste management boards need to address this issue. How to deal with waste foam? A recycling trailer is good but not enough. A complete recycling process includes collecting, compressing, prilling, and reprocessing. All these can be achieved through INTCO Recycling.
INTCO Recycling has paid so much energy and time on foam recycling now has accumulated rich foam recycling experience. What’s more, INTCO also manufactures GREENMAX foam recycling machines to help all who feel annoyed about foam waste solve their problems. Foam collection is merely the beginning, waste foam or compressed ingots are profitable in the foam recycling market. So, foam recycling deserves a try and investment.
