The team of BMW plans to use more recyclable and alternative sustainable materials and introduce lightweight packaging, which can reduce single-use packaging, transportation volume and carbon emissions. BMW uses 360,000 of these containers each year, which are made from 25 percent recycled material and save nearly 280 tons of CO2 emissions annually, according to the company.
