Foam Fish Boxes Recycling is Improved by Polystyrene Compactor Greatly
Polystyrene is often a lightweight packaging option because it provides cushioning and stability during transportation, which can be used for foam food containers, fish boxes and so on. It contains a certain proportion of plastic, which means it is not biodegradable but ultimately ends up in landfills for convenience. However, with the widespread use of GREENMAX polystyrene recycling compactors, offered by INTCO Recycling, the situation of foam boxes recycling has been greatly improved.
Polystyrene has long been the best choice for protecting fish and seafood products during shipping, as it not only preserves freshness but also provides stability. It is BPA-free, mold-resistant, FDA-approved for medical and food-grade applications, and is quite safe to handle. Therefore, manufacturers and consumers have increased demands for the use of polystyrene foam fish boxes, and hence, the large number of these packaging materials also poses great challenges to the management of waste foam. European coastal countries such as Chile and Finland have particularly strong demand for polystyrene fish boxes, and GREENMAX not only provides these countries with polystyrene recycling solutions, but also provides them with high-quality polystyrene recycling compactors that can compress loose foam to one-fiftieth of its original volume.
INTCO Recycling cooperated with Blumar Seafoods to help them resolve the problem for the foam recycling business, which is one of the largest seafood aquaculture and distributors in Chile. They substituted the original polystyrene boxes with a new package, leading to a large amount of polystyrene waste generated, which occupied the space of storage and affect the cleanness of the factory. These factors seriously interfered with main business operation, increased disposal costs, and ultimately reduced revenue, making polystyrene recycling an urgent matter for the Blugclaier factory. As a business who committed to polystyrene recycling and environment protection, they realized that they must find a recycler to take these foam fish boxes. In the Seafood Expo, we have made a proposal for the company that the team was extremely satisfied with. Hence, they purchased GREENMAX polystyrene recycling compactor A-C200, which can efficiently handle water-containing foam, and is very simple to operate, requiring only one worker.
Blumar also does not need to worry about the subsequent processing of recycled foam. These compressed blocks can be sold to the local market, which are recycled at a price of 900 to 1,000 euros per ton in the European market this year. At the same time, INTCO will always recycle these compressed blocks for remanufacturing products, such as photo frames, picture frames, etc. However, INTCO will not force the cooperative companies to sell recycled foam to us, and will always respect customers' choice of better market and price.
INTCO Recycling provides customers around the world with a complete set of solutions and polystyrene recycling machines for almost all types of foam, aiming for a harmonious nature and keeping the world beautiful.
