Foam Recycling Conducted by Nonprofits Through Grant Provided by the FRC in the USA
Recently, USA four nonprofits have collaborated to establish a foam recycling site near downtown Greensboro to recycle more waste foam packaging products. This group of four nonprofits received a 22,000 grant from the Foam Recycling Coalition (FRC) to help purchase a foam densifier to recycle foam. This machine will be installed and operated from the small house community development training and recycling center.
As one of four nonprofits, Environmental Management Greensboro encourages sustainable lifestyle practices in faith-based communities and among the county's residents. Because cities, especially communities, produce a lot of waste foam, and these can be fully recycled. The subsidy that this group applied to FRC was used to purchase a large-capacity foam densifier to better manage the foam collection of the new factory that opened in November 2020. The construction of this foam recycling site is not only of great significance to the urban environment, the proceeds from the sale of compressed ingots can also be used to build a Tiny House, which will also provide housing and employment opportunities for people in the community.
Foam densifiers can well deal with all types of foam packaging materials from hospitals, communities, schools, and companies, including food containers and trays.
This kind of foam densifier cuts foam into small pieces and turns it into a soft pliable material that can be densified into a denser form at a high ratio. INTCO Recycling supplies GREENMAX foam densifier for foam recycling and buy back foam blocks. USA Foam recycling companies can also apply for FRC grants to purchase machines to realize foam recycling.
