Foam Recycling: From Waste Foam to Designed Furniture
What does waste foam look like? The first thing that comes to mind when asked this question should be: scattered, discarded, dirty white foam. But as shown in the picture below, can you imagine that the material of such a designer furniture product is recycled foam? We+ is a Contemporary Design Studio, based on the principle of design and nature, We+ has set up a project called Refoam, which recycles waste foam to make various furniture, such as tables and stools, etc.
W+ comes from Japan, so the waste foam they use in the Refoam project is all collected in Tokyo. Waste foam is very common, and the recycling industry in Japan is developing rapidly. In Japan, waste foam is usually compressed into ingots and exported to Europe and Southeast Asia, and then processed into pellets to make new plastic products. Refoam, on the other hand, wants to express W+'s environmental protection concept and avant-garde design ideas by turning waste foam into furniture products with a sense of design.
In fact, it is not difficult to find that foam recycling is now more and more common. After the European Union and some other organizations announced that recycled materials will be more applied to the market, waste foam recycling has also become a project to be carried out by major companies. And the use of recycled materials makes the value of goods more "expensive". Waste foam has even become a magic weapon for brand image building. In Japan, Europe, and the United States, the recycling of waste foam is not a new thing, and companies or recycling centers begin to collect waste foam and purchase foam recycling machines to recycle it by themselves.
INTCO Recycling has always focused on the foam recycling industry. In order to develop the best foam recycling machine, INTCO uses parts from the international big brand Siemens and is equipped with a professional team of engineers. After years of hard work, INTCO Recycling's foam recycling business now covers the world. INTCO not only purchases waste foam but also provides GREENMAX foam recycling machines for some companies to recycle waste foam themselves. At the same time, we also have a dedicated production line that can turn waste foam into beautiful home framing products. Just like W+'s design-conscious table, the lovely photo frame is also made of foam waste. For more information on foam recycling machines please get in touch with us.
