With the rapid development of the beverage market, products such as carbonated drinks, functional beverages, and fruit juices are becoming increasingly diverse. While beverage manufacturers strive to ensure food safety and protect their brand image, they also face a critical challenge: how to efficiently, safely, and environmentally handle large quantities of defective or expired beverage products.

During daily production and distribution processes, a significant number of aluminum-canned drinks cannot be released to the market due to various reasons — such as labeling errors, inaccurate filling volumes, and other production defects, as well as physical damage to the cans during transportation. In addition, some products nearing their expiration dates, caused by slow sales or excess inventory, must also be properly destroyed in accordance with regulations.


GREENMAX Poseidon Series dewatering compactor is specifically designed for handling complex scenarios involving the disposal of defective or expired aluminum-canned beverages. It integrates compaction and dewatering functions into one system, enabling truly automated and streamlined processing.

This machine replaces the traditional manual can-opening process. The entire aluminum can recycling line can be operated by just one person, significantly reducing labor costs. With a processing capacity of up to 900 kg/h, it enables efficient compaction of aluminum cans, making transport and downstream recycling much easier.

As an advanced aluminum can recycling machine, it is equipped with a liquid collection tray and drainage outlet, allowing leftover beverage liquid to be centrally discharged into a wastewater treatment system or repurposed for other industrial applications.

The collection tray is made of acid-resistant stainless steel, capable of withstanding corrosive liquids with low pH values. Additionally, a drainage pipe can be connected to the dewatering compactor to direct the liquid to a designated area—helping the facility maintain a clean and organized 5S working environment.


In addition to its environmentally friendly and efficient dewatering system, GREENMAX aluminum can recycling machine also delivers high-performance compaction of aluminum cans, significantly enhancing the overall aluminum can recycling efficiency.

Using powerful screw-driven compression, the machine compresses aluminum cans into high-density blocks, greatly reducing their volume and making them easier to transport and recycle. This recycling process not only achieves effective compaction of aluminum cans, but also efficiently removes residual liquid from inside the cans—helping to reduce odors and prevent secondary contamination. It represents a cleaner, more standardized approach to aluminum can recycling.


After processing defective aluminum cans, the compressed blocks can be sold to downstream recyclers and repurposed for a wide range of applications. In addition, the dewatering compactor is also capable of handling various other materials such as PET beverage bottles and PP film, supporting automatic feeding and continuous operation to reduce dependence on manual labor.
