GREENMAX EPP Densifier Make Foam Recycling Progress More Smoothly
BASF has developed a new expanded polypropylene foam product, Neopolen P 9235+, enabling components in the automotive and construction industries to have better performance.
Neopolen P 9235+ is a recyclable EPP foam that is lightweight, chemical and oil resistant, thermally insulating and has low water absorption. It improves the surface properties of products, increasing color depth by 20%, while optimizing filling behavior during manufacturing. Parts made of this EPP foam produce much less frictional noise and can be applied to automotive parts such as bumper cores, headrests and armrests, as well as casing insulation for heating and air conditioning systems. Meanwhile, this EPP foam has been listed in the automotive industry's material data system IMDS and is first available in Europe.
EPP foam is 100% recyclable and can be remade into recycled products and returned to the market, forming a closed-loop economy. In the entire closed-loop process of foam recycling and reuse, it will first be crushed into scraps of uniform size, and then hot melted by the EPP densifier into compact foam ingots for easy transportation and subsequent processing. These EPP foam ingots are then granulated to become raw materials for recycled products and can be put into the production process again. INTCO Recycling has been focusing on foam recycling and providing customers with a complete set of comprehensive foam recycling solutions. INTCO Recycling will work closely with customers to first understand their foam recycling needs, including foam type, output, humidity, density, recycling rate and other indicators. Then, based on the customer's needs, the team will design the most suitable foam recycling solution and build a GREENMAX recycling machine that best suits the customer's actual recycling situation.
GREENMAX has a variety of foam recycling machines, including EPP densifier, foam crusher, granulator and so on. GREENMAX EPP densifier is specially designed for recycling EPP foam, which is able to hot melt hard EPP into foam ingots at a ratio of 90:1 at a high temperature. The EPP densifier is equipped with three-stage temperature control technology that minimizes the impact of moisture content on the efficiency of the foam recycling process and the quality of the compacted foam ingots. In addition, the machine is so simple to operate that a female employee without any machine knowledge can complete foam recycling in a short time.
GREENMAX EPP densifier enables foam recycling to be completed efficiently and safely, which is an indispensable link in the EPP recycling closed loop.
