Hawthorne Offers Permanent Foam Recycling Service with Polystyrene Densifier
The City of Hawthorne, New Jersey announced that starting in May 2024, a container would be set in the Hawthorne recycling center to collect expanded polystyrene, providing a permanent foam recycling service for residents.
Since 2018, the City of Hawthorne has been insisting on holding a foam recycling day event for residents and has collected 2.88 tons of polystyrene. At present, all residents of Hawthorne can put their white and clean foam in the recycling center. And the polystyrene foam is needed to remove all the tape and stickers from the surface before collection.
Hawthorne will transport the collected polystyrene to Clifton and process it by using the foam cycle equipment, which is a professional foam collection and polystyrene densifier. Then, foam products will be sent to a molded frame company to be made into the photo frame, floorboard, and so on, forming a close-loop foam recycling system.
Polystyrene densifier is specially designed to reduce the volume of foam, which can improve the subsequent transportation and warehousing efficiency by ninety times. The recycling method of this polystyrene melting machine is greatly easy: feed – crush – melt – extrude. Among various foam recycling methods, many people prefer a polystyrene densifier, not only due to the simple operation of this machine but also due to the high compression ratio.
The mechanical structure of this polystyrene densifier is relatively stable, and the electrical equipment is not too complicated. During the operation of the machine, the best optimization effect can be achieved through programming. Additionally, only one person is required to operate this polystyrene melting machine, including starting the machine and feeding materials, which can help customers save labor costs.
INTCO Recycling polystyrene densifier has been rooted in the foam recycling industry for more than ten years and has undergone several upgrades. From motors to controllers to mechanical design, our R&D team has been striving for excellence, hoping to create a more intelligent polystyrene melting machine for our customers to use.
The processed foam products can be resold as new products in the international market. INTCO Recycling helps you achieve one-stop foam recycling, including providing sales solutions for foam products. We provide buyback services at preferential prices or provide customers with other local sales channels.
