The report was recognized by industry leading brands such as Coca-Cola, Danone, Martha general store, Mars Inc, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble and Unilever.

Another important brand is Dow Chemical Company, the manufacturer of polystyrene. Dow's CEO Andrew Liveris praised the report as "a key step in helping us reduce the use of plastics and find scientific solutions."
