The Quality of Styrofoam Densifier Determine the Customer Profits
The town of Guilford, in central New Hampshire, received a $50,000 grant provided by FRC to realize the Styrofoam recycling project in this area. They plan to purchase and install an expanded polystyrene recycling system, including a Styrofoam densifier.
The new Guildford Foam Recycling Center is the first center in the state to collect and recycle waste foam, serving an area within a 50-mile radius of the center, including 125 communities and more than 530,000 people residents. This Styrofoam recycling center receives clean foam food and consumer packaging, foam tableware and so on. The collected foam waste will be hot melted by a Styrofoam densifier into dense ingots, and then, they will be sold to manufacture new plastic products.
This recycling method not only diverts foam waste from landfills, but also saves various foam waste processing and transportation costs, and creates continuous income for the community, which is a double harvest of economic and environmental benefits. Styrofoam is light in weight but large in size, so direct shipping by truck can be quite expensive. In addition to this, some people choose to discard the Styrofoam waste into landfills directly, which also requires significant disposal costs and is quite un-environmentally friendly. By using Styrofoam densifier, loose foam can be compressed into foam ingots at a high ratio, which can be sold to manufacturers to make recycled products such as food-grade packaging, flooring, and furniture. By selling compacted blocks, you can quickly get a return on investment in the machine and obtain a steady stream of profits. Meanwhile, a large amount of foam waste is turned into valuable recycling materials. But the quality of Styrofoam ingots will determine the price at which it is sold, and the quality of these compacted blocks depends on the quality of the machine.
INTCO Recycling is an environmentally friendly technology company focusing on the recycling and utilization of waste foam. In order to better realize Styrofoam recycling, we have developed the GREENMAX foam recycling machine brand, including Styrofoam densifier, washing system, Styrofoam pelletizer and so on. GREENMAX Styrofoam densifier adopts unique hot melting technology, which is an equipment specifically designed to melt and densify foam into a more compact and manageable form at a high temperature. The process involves melting foam, compressing it, and then cooling it to form a solid ingot. A truck or container can hold approximately 20 tons of foam ingots, improving transportation efficiency greatly. And these Styrofoam ingots can convert into foam pellets through the process like washing and granulation, which is the raw material of recycled plastic products.
INTCO can provide customers with customized Styrofoam recycling solutions, and we hope to work with customers to advance the foam recycling business.
