The Rebirth of EPS: from Trash to Art Exhibit
Fabric artist and upcycler Uzoma Anyanwu will hold a solo environmental exhibition at the National Museum in Onikan, Lagos from January 18 to January 29, which will include Uzoma's artistic creations of EPS foam.
Uzoma Anyanwu has been working on EPS recycling and studying how artists can make effective use of this fragile material. He collects discarded EPS foam from the streets of Lagos as well as drains and garbage dumps, and successfully combines polystyrene foam with fabric to turn it into art.
In addition to being remade into artworks or other practical products, EPS actually has a variety of recycling methods that can be practiced on a large scale, including chemical recycling and physical EPS recycling. Chemical recycling refers to the decomposition of EPS into its original monomers or other chemicals through chemical methods such as pyrolysis and depolymerization, and then used to make new materials or products.
The physical EPS recycling method involves a variety of foam recycling machines, including EPS densifier, pelletizer, etc. As a world-renowned foam recycling machine supplier, GREENMAX has served more than 800 customers and has profound research and practical experience.
GREENMAX EPS densifier integrates crushing and compaction functions, with high efficiency and can achieve the best volume reduction effect of 90:1. After the foam block enters the equipment, it is first crushed into uniform fragments and then enters the compaction bin. There, the EPS fragments will melt and completely expel the air inside. Then compacted foam ingots are formed and discharged through the outlet of the foam recycling machine.
The resulting hot melt EPS ingots can be turned into PS pellets through a foam pelletizer, which is an important resource for producing environmentally friendly products. If you are eager to deal with compacted EPS hot melt materials, GREENMAX can purchase your foam at a preferential price, saving you time and energy in finding downstream recyclers.
Additionally, we can also provide EPS densifier customers with other nearby sales channels for foam ingots. GREENMAX is able to provide a one-stop EPS recycling solution because we are not only a supplier of foam recycling machine, but also one of the largest end users of recycled foam.
We have the world's largest recycled frame strip production line, and the recycled products such as sound-absorbing wall panels, photo frames, and house skirtings produced have been sold all over the world. Therefore, GREENMAX has sufficient demand and ability to purchase customers' compressed foam ingots, which can solve your worries.
We need to purchase a large number of high-quality EPS foam ingots every month, so we hope that customers can produce clean foam. This also guarantees GREENMAX's strict requirements on the production quality of equipment such as EPS densifier, and customers don't have to worry about it. If you have any considerations, you can first come to the GREENMAX factory for a visit and inspection. Moreover, we can also contact other nearby customers for you and provide you with on-site conditions of the actual use of the machine in the factory.
EPS recycling plays an important role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions. By participating in the EPS foam recycling process, both companies and individuals can greatly reduce their ecological footprint and convert waste into valuable materials.
