The Recycling Value of EPS cannot be Ignored
On November 11, the Tennessee Environmental Council cooperated with Nissan to host a free recycling event, where recyclable materials including EPS and paper, as well as electronic products.
Residents from Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford and Murray counties participated in this recycling event, which collected over 32,000 pounds of recyclable materials, including EPS foam. This recycling event is one of ten events hosted by TEC, which aims to reduce public dependence on landfills and realize the recycling of materials like EPS foam.
EPS is made from non-renewable resources such as petroleum. While it is widely used, it is also constantly consuming non-renewable resources. Therefore, the reuse of EPS not only has environmental protection significance, but also saves the use of various resources. However, people tend to ignore the recycling value of discarded foam. Waste EPS can be turned into foam particles, which is the raw material of recycled products, through processes such as cleaning, crushing, compression and granulation. Throughout the entire process of foam from waste to usable particles, INTCO Recycling can provide the machines and corresponding solutions required by every customer.
INTCO Recycling has more than 20 years of practical experience in the field of EPS recycling, and has also developed professional GREENMAX foam recycling machines, including compactor, washing system and pelletizer. The team can provide a full range of services and answers. We can provide customers with customized solutions for various materials, including different densities and humidity. INTCO Recycling is both a foam recycler and an end-user of foam recycling. We recycle foam and make it into environmentally friendly frames and building materials products, such as picture frames, baseboards and floors. Then, these recycled products will be sold around the world.
This event organized by TEC turns waste that would otherwise be discarded into landfill into a reusable resource. The recycling program will expand to more communities across the state in 2024. INTCO hopes that more people will realize the recycling value of foam and achieve sustainable development.
