When Christmas Comes, Outagamie County No Longer Worry about Waste EPS Packaging of Gifts

With Christmas coming and the influence of Covid-19, the number of expresses has reached a new peak. It’s usually a puzzle for local government to handle such a large amount of waste EPS packaging, Outagamie County is no exception. But this year, Outgamie no longer considers the way to deal with waste EPS packaging, they have purchased an EPS densifier to recycle waste EPS packaging as well as other EPS material.

Previously, waste EPS materials were left at a bottom of a landfill, no breaking down for over 500 years. Although people knew that EPS was recyclable and put it into the recyclable bin, the destination for EPS was still landfill or incineration. That’s all because when EPS goes into the recycling system, it can’t be recycled: By mixing the EPS with other recycled materials, the county couldn't sort each piece of recycled material to remove the EPS.

“Should we watch EPS pile up into mountains again, occupy a lot of landfill space, and continue to pollute the environment?” The residents and government don’t want to do this. Their environmental awareness does not allow them to continue to put EPS waste together with other garbage. At last, the public demand drove the county's decision to acquire an EPS densifier. With a $50,000 grant from the Food Service Packaging Institute, Recycling and Solid Waste bought the densifier to recycle EPS waste. So now when you receive a new TV on Christmas Day, the county's recycling facilities will urge you not to throw the box and its contents into the trash. Outagamie County's recycling and solid waste team is asking residents to bring EPS waste to the "Foam Cycle" for recycling.

Except EPS packaging, this recycling machine also accepts clean food packaging, such as foam egg cartons, takeout containers, and cups. The EPS densifier helps this county solve so many problems of EPS waste and brings profits by selling compressed ingots to make other products. As one of a handful in the state that owns an EPS densifier, Outagamie has made a sensible decision. EPS densifier can squeeze out the air of EPS (EPS consists of 98% air). Then through hot-melting technology, EPS waste will be compressed into ingots that can be used to process into frame products and so on. INTCO Recycling can provide customers with a few series of GREENMAX EPS densifiers that can be customized according to different materials and customer needs. I believe that many states and counties and related industries are still worried about how to deal with EPS. No need to wait, GREENMAX EPS densifier is your perfect choice.
